Shortly after we won the Jane’s Combat Simulations brand at Electronic Arts, the head of marketing for the EA Sports brand asked us to come up with some Internet advertising as his current ad agency wasn’t really set up for this new thing called “online advertising”.
These ads are from a series of spread ads and web banners we created after winning Jane’s Combat Simulations, a vertical EA brand. While many of the shots were created using stock and highly detailed models, on occasion we were able to actually go out and shoot real aircraft, which was a very cool experience after shooting two years of circuit boards for our deep-tech clients.
After wining the Jane’s Military Simulations brand assignments from Electronic Arts, we were asked to meet with the group at Firaxis Studios. Below is the print and online campaign we created for them while I was Executive Creative Director, Partner in Charge Creative at Bozell Worldwide Silicon Valley.
In 1998, I was Executive Creative Director Partner in Charge Creative of Bozell Worldwide in Silicon Valley and we were on a roll pitching and winning several studios Electronic Arts had acquired.
Without a doubt, PC & video game clients are the most fun to work on, well at least mastering, I mean researching the games are a blast.
Working in advertising as a creative, PC & Video Games are the coolest accounts in the world to work on.
