RecoveryX, is a patent pending, clinically-tested, all natural biologically active drink that at the time I had created their marketing materials, had become the fastest growing product in the world of athletic performance.

RecoveryX was developed specifically to support a compromised immune system and promote normal inflammation response during and after workouts to promote an athlete’s peak performance which can drop from muscle soreness and joint pain most people experience after work outs. This soreness are symptoms of post-workout tissue inflammation, which slows recovery, limits fitness gain, and causes overuse injury. By better management of post exercise inflammation, athletes can recover faster, enhance training adaptations, advance workout and competition results, and possibly avoid injuries.

My job was to develop a creative means and message to promote RecoveryX in a sports-retail distribution environment. These were the first print ads that Pitzer Advertising & Design developed. We then used these series of photos as an integral part of the display design we created working with Sound Packaging, LLC in Chandler, AZ.

Once Pitzer Advertising & Design had created the imagery for the print ads, PA&D applied the look and feel to the display case adding the feature of interchangeable headers and having the case itself work as a reinforcement liner to the shipping boxes. This is the original drawing Pitzer Advertising & Design created as they worked out how a self-shipper might be constructed to help cut costs.

Once we had the display constructed, we applied sample graphics to the surfaces of the display for presentation to RecoveryX.

After the successful presentation we applied and refined usable graphics to create a photo realistic representation of the displays for the sales force to use during their initial sales calls. This particular display used Kevin Nee, World Strongman and RecoveryX spokesperson.

Pitzer Advertising & Design then created the interchangeable headers so that as new spokespeople were signed, their images could be added to customize displays.

The first major sports figure to sign with RecoveryX outside the World’s Strongest Man Competition was Many Ramierz, #99 from the Los Angeles Dodgers.

RecoveryX then signed Manny Pacquiao as a spokesperson. The amazing thing about the photo is that Michael Pitzer shot this photo of Manny in Vegas after Manny beat Juan Manuel Marquez the night before and then spent the entire night celebrating before showing up for this photo shoot.

Enzymes are vital to our health and change the rate at which chemical reactions happen, but without any external energy source added or by being changed themselves. These very important ingredients to our health, is reaction specific, and will only act on certain substances – referred to as substrates.

These reactions could be for the substrate to bond to the enzyme, or different substrates bonding together, or for the substrate to be broken up into different products.

Without enzymes in your body, you could have the best nutritional plan around, and supplement your diet with a host of vitamin supplements, but without these humble workers we call enzymes, the vitamins will not be absorbed into your system.

Although enzymes are found in small quantities, they are extremely powerful – 30 grams of pure crystalline pepsin would digest nearly 2 metric tons of egg white in a matter of hours.
