These photos are from our first trip to Paris in 1993 and then a few years later, from a second trip we took to London and then Paris in 1995. Most are from Notre Dame Cathedral and the Louvre Museum, photographed by Michael Pitzer.

These pictures were taken using an Olympus OM-1, 35mm, analogue film (non-digital) SLR (single lens reflex) camera with a 105mm lens. The prints were made and then scanned in to Photoshop and sized for printing for thin-line frames I created specifically for these and other detail prints.

I’m just writing to let you know what a excellent experience I had viewing your website. The photographs of Paris are beautiful. Did you shoot them as black and white and then add colour or were they photographed in colour and then desaturated?

I think we have actually traveled and photographed the same European buildings. They are amazing photographs. Do you sell your work? Are they available online? Keep up with good posts.
