There was a period while I was Executive Creative Director of Hakuhodo Advertising Los Angeles, where every week we were producing multiple “dealer ad slicks” for our professional audio component client, Tascam Pro Audio.
These are from one of the series of retail ad slicks we produced to help small audio stores push Tascam Pro Audio components through their audio outlets. We also designed and wrote each ad, as well as provided art work that was maximized for questionable reproduction of various newspapers throughout the U.S. Many of newspapers were not able to provide “superior” reproduction services as one would see in a magazine, but our art work was produced to allow each dealer to customize their component sales amount.
