TEAC – Print Campaign

This print campaign is from a two-year, b&w print series developed for TEAC way back in 1989 & 1990 and was later developed as posters to be placed around several Southern California college campuses.

Because of the wonderful press our client was getting for their new line of products, it wasn’t necessary to do long copy ads about the new technology or the fact that TEAC now offered a full line of audio components, we let the inset visuals achieve that with clean, sharp product shots to accompany the main visuals juxtaposed to funny and memorable headlines.

This was the second, most award-winning campaign I’ve created. And aside from being called up to the awards podium 5 times, the coolest part of creating this campaign was that the large format versions became the most stolen posters on any college campus!
